Decking is used as an outdoor flooring. Malaysia weather is hot and humid. Only few durable species can last for years. The common species used are Chengal & Balau. Chengal usually around double of Balau price. Common timber decking size is 18mm x 90mm. Resort may use bigger size. Timber Decking requires bi-yearly maintenance. Re-paint it every two years to extend the lifespan.
